Že leta 1907 je Franc Grum pričel proizvodnjo sladkih mehurčkastih pijač.Proizvodnjo so najprej  upravljali povsem ročno. Kasneje so nekatere procese nadomestili stroji. V takratnem času so sadje kupovali od domačinov na gori. Sadje so s konsko uprego vozili v dolino. Na začetku so bili samo trije okusi in sicer citronka, pašareta, umetna oranžna. Družinski recepti družinska skrivnost je stara 115 let.
